Comparing the Kindle Fire to Other Kindles

The Kindle Fire is very different from the previous models of the Kindle that have been put out on the market. Of course, you can do more with the Kindle Touch than you can with the Kindle, but you have even more capabilities with the Kindle Fire.

You may be wondering why this version of the kindle is so different than the past versions. The first thing that you will notice about the Kindle Fire is that it has a color screen whereas the previous Kindles are black and white. The screen on the Kindle Fire is also bigger by an inch, so you will be able to see what you are doing easier than if you were using either of the other models. Much like the Kindle Touch, the Kindle Fire has a touch screen as well. There are also many other things that you can use this device for besides just reading books, such as watching television shows and listening to songs.

When it comes to the Kindle Fire, you should know that there are a couple of downfalls that go along with this device. The Kindle Fire is about twice as heavy than the other models, but this is mainly because it is bigger. Also, the battery in this device will last for only 8 hours as opposed to 1 and 2 months in the Kindle and Kindle Touch respectively. There is a large difference in the length of time that the battery will last in these devices without having to be charged.
